About In-Home Pet Sitting and Dog Walking in Salina + Saline County
Adventures In Pet Sitting provides in-home pet sitting, dog walking, and exotic and farm animal care across nine communities in central Kansas: Salina, Solomon, Lindsborg, Assaria, Brookville, New Cambria, Gypsum, Smolan, and the broader Saline County. We are based in Salina and travel to Loyal Adventure Clients within roughly 25 minutes of city limits — house dogs in town, barn cats on the rural routes, and everything in between.
Founded in 2018 by MiKayla Anders, CPPS, Adventures In Pet Sitting is the only in-home pet care company in Saline County that handles exotic and farm animals alongside dogs and cats. AIPS also cares for pocket pets, birds and aquatics. Our team is triple-certified through Pet Sitters International, Pet First Aid + CPCR, and Disaster Relief — every Animal Assistant is double-certified through PSI before they ever enter your home. We are fully insured through Travelers, and MiKayla was named one of PSI’s Top 5 Pet Sitters of the Year for 2026.

Salina Veterinary Hospital -
Dr. Shrader
We are proud to recommend Salina Veterinary Hospital, where we have built a close professional partnership with Dr. Schrader and the veterinary team. Their full-service practice provides preventive and wellness care, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, same-day urgent care during regular business hours, and care for both small and large animals, with the hospital open Monday–Friday from 7:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m. What makes this partnership especially valuable to Adventures In Pet Sitting is the education behind it—we network closely with their team and partner with them quarterly for educational pieces that help keep our Adventures team informed, prepared, and continually growing in the care we provide our Loyal Adventurers. We confidently recommend Salina Veterinary Hospital as a trusted local veterinary resource and an important part of our professional pet-care network.
